The MCR gallery is not locked anymore. so everyone can view it now! I've noticed that many people are posting MCR pics and it seems all fine, so why to hide the pics? hm....

It's morning here and I didn't eat yet. going to the classes later, I feel lazy again. ha.
It's so cold here.
I might create a new gallery with my fav. and most amazing actors/actresses from The Silent Era to Post-War Era. hopefully there are some people out there who still love and appreciate the amazing talent of the stars who are not with us anymore, but they live on a screen forever :)

I was just reading "spardy's" journal and thought I might do something similar. She made
3 fav. celeb couples. I really liked her journal and she won't mind if I "copy" her idea.
My 3 fav. celeb couples..., here I go:)

1. Robert Smith & Mary Poole.

They get married the 13th of August, in 1988.(ehm...I was born 13th of August btw..). They've had their ups and downs in their relationship, but they are still very happy. Robert said: "She's fab. My best friend. She's got black hair and very striking looks. In fact she looks like Betty Boop. When I'm with her I just sit back and watch -- I don't have to perform any more.
The thing what I love about their realtionship is that she is very tolerant due to Robert's love for music. He loves her and can't imagine life without her.Most of the lyrics Robert wrote for her (The Cure have 17 albums by now...) There are just few pictures of them what are public, I like it as well.

2. Chris Martin & Gwyneth Paltrow.

When I first heard about these two dating, I was scared. haha. but time after time I got used and fell in love with them. After all he was/ is my fav. singer and she is also a great actress. They don't want any attention..(ehm like when Chris attacked one of the paparrazis). they match great!

3. Bruce Lee - Siu Lung & Linda Lee Cadwell.


Linda met Bruce at high school where Bruce did his Kung fu demonstration. she became one of his Kung Fu students. It was love at first sight. So strong & beautiful love that not many people are able to find. I admire the way how supportive she always was to Bruce and his work and career. they got married in the year 1964 and had two wonderful children Brandon & Shannon. Not many people were happy about their "knot"...mostly because of the ethnicity. Linda didn't care and gave her heart to Bruce just like he did. Their love didn't destroy anything and it never will. Even after Bruce's death(1973) Linda continues in her husband's work of martial laws. She has remarried in 1991.
p.s: many of you know that Bruce Lee is one of my heroes so no wonder I've mentioned him in here.

I am so bad, I know...I am very sorry that I am not replying to all of your amazing notes guys. I've been kind of busy again, what made me happy but it brought also a lot of health drama again. I can say I am trying to fight with it.

We did some family re-union lately, I've been busy with decorating my lil' apt and it makes me excited because I can always take a part as a "housewife". haha. Many of you have my email addy so I am happy to stay in touch with you that way. I can't promise I am gonna reply every single note because that would be a lie. I am sorry. I actually always wonder how famous people deal with tons of stuff they get daily....lolz. I've saved some lil' money and my cute mom got me a new "electronic pet" aka laptop, the older one is gonna hit the exit soon:-(

I've also found out that "relationship" is not a thing for me. All the drama makes things worse and I am happy the way I am now. I still didn't get over a dissapointment I've found in one of my best friends. yeah last year was full of shit, is this one gonna bring more? :P I can deal with that. I say this with all my love to a bad people : F*ck you!

I did a loads of strange things to my hair(and they are still not damaged...I wonder where the secret is?) used many various colors but I am going back to pink..I mean I can't get over the pink color. Is it inside of me or am I so obsessed to become as Stephanie from "Lazy Town"? haha. Yep, I watch that thing when I can't get into sleep at night.

I swear this girl has some "balls". hahaha

It makes me want to be a little girl once again:) Talking about obsessions. pfff!!! I am hell a fan of "Twilight" . Yes, kill me. And I've promised myself, hey you are not gonna get into it are you? but I did. and you know what? I love my new obsession. The truth is horrible because I got much more interested in Rob Pattz as an actor who is not just a charming gentleman but great actor as well. England owns again! And I get nostalgic every time I hear a pure British accent. I miss London so much, I've loved the rainy weather so bad and when I got lost in Soho....or while I was running to catch a train and my umbrella got broken and I've fell into a big slop. I miss the wonderful milk, toasts, baked beans, chicken nugetts and addictive "Ribena". not to talk about shopping or clubbing. I should stop rambling. Gonna eat a muffin (call me a Muffin Monster) and just lay down. I want to send greetings to all of you who are visiting my lil' page, hope you still like the stuff I post. If not then " sayonara" .

Let's make the year 2009 better! Enjoy your Christmas Eve with family, friend or pet. It doesn't matter. Just throw away all the sadness from your heart and try to be a better person. I know I will. This year brought many good & bad things but that's the way it goes. I am very happy I can spend a Christmas with my mom, I don't care about the presents because I am happy she is gonna be here. To my lost friends, hope you are gonna be happy - for the true ones that stayed & new friends - let's all be happy together.

Booooo!!! So, it's here again my most fav. holiday ever. Most of you know we don't celebrate it here, but I am one of those lucky who got used to this since I was lil' girl. Anyway, for me - everyday is a Halloween. Not only because of I am huge horror fan but I meet something/someone scary every day:D haha.

I am having huge migraine since yesterday and Ika found me sleeping like DEAD! What I wasn't. Dissapointed huh? My other half went to see "Queen" so I am all "missing part". I still didn't get myself a costume or anything, I always want to be so many characters but never get anything good enough:P let's see what we are gonna end up like with Ika after all. I've already made a Movie List for tonight but as long as my friend is lil' chicken sometimes, I've tried to be careful with choosing the movies.

I am just having a "wonderful" flu & I have to say that I really wonder why do we pay our health insurance when the "doctor" won't give you a medicine? Thanks to my mom who is a nurse and knows much more than my so called Doctor. It seems the "title" can have anyone. I know I've already should have answer all of my notes but due to my lovely "zombie flu" (I really look like an one..haha) I can't think.

It's so rainy here and I have to go to town, how I love this weather but going for a walk? oh, no please! What is everybody planning for Halloween? I can't seem to get a good idea what mask or what should I be? O_o Maybe "Alice in Wonderland" :D haha with Pink hair, now that's weird.

I am very happy to say that I finally got copy of Joe Hill's book - Heart Shaped Box and I am stoked! You can tell. I've read it online few months ago and I got pretty stuck with it. I recommend this book to anyone who loves creepy & lil' "sick" stories made in "KING Factory" of great horror :-)

The story is just so awesome! At least for me. I am not a passionate reader but I do love horror/gore. I love to get scared, but it doesn't mean people have to scare me every day, jumping out of the dark corner like one of my best friends loves to do. About the book.....it's about an aging rock star called  Jude Coyne (what a slick name!).He buys himself a dead man's suit. He acquires it online, lured by the promise that the dead man's ghost will be included in his purchase. Jude thinks this is a joke, of course. He also assumes the seller is a stranger. And that's where the story gets to a "higher" level. Jude wants the ghost gone but the ghost wants Jude dead.

What a damn situation! Man, I just love Joe Hill and if I'd get a chance, I'd love to meet him and get the book autographed. But why isn't anybody coming over this damn place? Madonna's brother was here recently and I didn't think it was exciting at all. Okay guys, that's all for today and I swear/promise I am gonna reply to all of your notes asap! I've been thinking about why to not post this kind of journal?! I am really interested what all of you bought lately? I am known as huge "shoppacolic" and I've always followed my own style! You can get pretty things even when they are not from Prada or Chanel. What most of us can't afford, right? *sniff* I gotta say that I've been buying most of the clothes from internet and it's mostly a new Hong Kong fashion. Not really cheap, not really expensive but amazingly comfi & pretty:) And that what counts! I am huge admirer of Paris Hilton clothes collection. I own pair of her Silver Heels Shoes & 2 T-shirts. I want more of course & I am starving for her Starlet bag collection, honestly the prizes get pretty nasty sometimes! I think every woman has her own instinct when it gets about Fashion.

Weee, it's been for a while since I've posted last journal. and my friend Lyana just mentioned it yesterday:) So I think it's time to update! How is everybody? I am fine, just trying to clean up my room because we've got new furniture and honestly I have so many things that they don't fit anywhere O_o My room is changing into a little "Hello Kitty" Land. haha.

So many exciting things are coming my way! I can't wait for Halloween, could you believe that I am preparing myself already? We'll use an Ouija Board, as long as some of my friends never used it before and they are very curious:P Mimi's B-day is coming up, also an amazing trip for New Year's Eve (thanks to Mimi! I owe you a big time lady).

As huge Alicia Simmons lover, I can't wait for her Birthday and I've prepared something for it. To show her how much she means to me as an Idol. You'll see later;) and f*ck everybody who is talking sh*t about her! You are so jealous and spreading weird stories because of Mikey! When I've started to like Alicia, it wasn't because of MCR. When I hear her name I think of an amazing girl, who went through a lot of things and for me she is great inspiration because she was the first girl who got into the music industry with a hard work. I am sorry guys that I don't reply the notes faster, but we are painting our rooms + making other changes. I try to update so much as I can! I really like this place again:-) my friends just rock. It makes me happy!

Going to a lil' wedding on Wednesday so I hope I won't have any tears on my face. hehe. I get so emotional sometimes. I might put up pics after. My Birthday is coming and it seems it might be a good one this time:D I've run out of depressions, I am trying to concentrate on lovely, cute things. It's hard to do - true but it really works.

I wish that everybody would be happy:) I try to eat healthy (not so much coke and junk food..lol), I've even started to excersise a bit. Mimi is coming over sometimes soon and I just can't wait. She is really an amazing girl who has a lots of enthusiasm and charming personality. I am stoked. I've decided to come back after lil' break. I've had a lots of time to think, cure my dissapointment (of people) and even having fun. I have to say that I really missed most of you! you know who you are:) Things are pretty okay, it's hard sometimes but that's the way life goes right? I'd love to stay, so it's up to people.

I'd love to post MCR pics but I am not sure. what do you think? let me know please. i have tons of and haven't seen most of them anywhere. Yes, my looks changed a bit just like my personality. I am not so naive anymore. I miss my lip piercing..

had to remove it because of health problems. I am getting my sleeve tattoo done in upcoming months, very stoked.

Right now I am doing hair model for hair saloon in my town. I have an appoitment today, I can't wait but I am mad because the weather is pretty cold and it's rainy(usually I love that, but not when I have to walk in high heels and chinese coctails with heavy hair style).

I've got also a lots of offers to go to Asia, to teach English so my life is not boring at all. Thanks to everyone who stayed by my side, you are the real treasure to me! much love Cali

Before he became lead singer of My Chemical Romance, Gerard Way had been pursuing a career in comics. The terrorist attacks against New York City in September of 2001 had such a profound effect on Way, his life went in a completely different direction. But last year, Way returned to creating comics with Dark Horse’s “The Umbrella Academy: Apocalypse Suite,” illustrated by Gabriel Bá (”Casanova”) with covers by “Fables’” James Jean, who also provided sleeve illustrations for My Chemical Romance’s hugely successful album, “The Black Parade.” Now that the “Umbrella Academy” franchise’s first series is complete, CBR News caught up with the L.A.-based musician/comics creator for a post-game on the series that Grant Morrison calls “an ultraviolet psychedelic sherbet bomb of wit and ideas.”

“The Umbrella Academy” tells the story of a dysfunctional family of superheroes, brought together by Sir Reginald Hargreeves, aka The Monocle, a space alien posing as a wealthy entrepreneur. In an event that has yet to be explained, 43 extraordinary children were born to 43 unsuspecting mothers. Those who did not die in childbirth were abandoned or given up for adoption. The Monocle adopted seven of these superpowered children, with the express purpose of training them to save the world. The team called themselves the Umbrella Academy, and little did they know that the threat to the world their adoptive father trained them to stop would come from within.

Out of all seven members of the Umbrella Academy, Vanya Hargreeves (aka the White Violin) was the most ostracized. Vanya’s power manifested itself as a proclivity for music, and this pedestrian ability was of little interest to her adoptive father or her teammates. It is the disillusionment she feels from being rejected by her family that leads her to unlock the true nature of her power. Vanya is recruited into the Orchestra Verdammten by a ghoulish conductor whose composition, “The Apocalypse Suite,” if played correctly has the power to bring an end to the world.

The concept of destroying the world with a piece of music was inspired by a real-life conductor, whose name Way could not recall. “There was really a conductor that believed he could destroy the world with a piece of music that he had written,” he told CBR News “This insane guy, and it’s very hard to find any of his work right now. My friend had told me about it, and that was what sparked the idea for the series.”

Ultimately, the evil that is “The Apocalypse Suite” is cancelled out by a an assemblage playing Igor Stravinsky’s “The Rites of Spring.” Thus, in “The Umbrella Academy,” Way imbued music with the power to destroy the world, and the power to save it. But it wasn’t until after he completed the series that Way realized the synergy with his other job as lead singer of My Chemical Romance. “It almost never occurred to me,” Way said. “That’s actually something that I, with the band, had always believed, so it completely subconsciously carries itself into the work. I had no idea I was saying the same thing I was trying to say with music.”

“With our music at times, we are trying to prove that you can destroy with it as well,” Way continued. “There’s a definite black and white to our sound and lyrics too. There’s some very uplifting stuff, and there’s some very destructive elements to the music. Just to have that balance, to prove that they both do exist, it’s really up to the listener to choose if they want to help or they want to hurt.”

For those who missed the critically acclaimed miniseries the first time around, Dark Horse is putting out an “Umbrella Academy” trade paperback this July. “Grant Morrison does the forward, which is very amazing and generous of him to do,” said Way, who has cited Morrison’s seminal “Doom Patrol” as one of his primary inspirations for “Umbrella Academy.”

Way decided not to write any additional material for the trade, opting instead to leave room for artist Gabriel Bá and editor Scott Allie to sound off on the book. “I felt like I’d kind of written quite a bit, and I said a lot, and I wanted other people to be able to say what they were feeling during making the series,” Way said.

The forthcoming “Umbrella Academy” trade also features an expanded sketchbook section. “It looks very cool, it looks like pages ripped out of my sketchbook,” Way said. “And then you see some of Gabriel’s studies for these characters, and there’s commentary on those.” And later on down the line, Way promises a hardcover collecton with even more extras.

Way and Scott Allie are already hard at work developing “Umbrella Academy” series 2, which they’re tentatively hoping to launch this November. “It’s going to directly deal with something that came up in the first series,” Way confirmed. “Almost immediately without a break, it’s going to deal with something that has to be dealt with right now. You’re going to learn some truth about some things that were said in series 1, and you’re going to see the actual story of what happened.”

Fans will be able to get a sneak peak of series 2 at San Diego Comic-Con this summer. “Gabriel has done a teaser image, it’s a really powerful image, I’m very excited for people to see it. That will really fill in readers on what the series is going to be about.”

Way’s plans for “Umbrella Academy” extend well beyond series 2. On top of the continuing adventures of the Umbrella Academy themselves, Way plans to delve into the lives of some of the other 43 super children. Additionally, one aspect of the story that was barely explored at all in series 1 was the heroes’ birth mothers. “I have a lot of plans for the mothers of these children later on in the series,” Way said. “Maybe more like series 5 or 6. That’s the best part about the series, I never really know when something is going to pop in and want to show its face.”

Way is an artist as well as a writer, and has been in talks with Scott Allie about writing and penciling a book. “I would love to do a project that I write and draw, a complete thought, a graphic novel, not released as single issues,” Way said. “There’s a couple things I’ve been interested in, I’ve been interested in the black plague and the crusade, and I’ve been interested in adapting Tom Waits’ ‘Black Rider’ as a graphic novel. Little things like that that I think I could tackle if I had like a year of time. But I have a really strong desire to draw, I don’t get to draw nearly enough.” Way will have a chance to show off his drawing chops on an upcoming “Rex Mundi” cover.

Way’s aspirations in comics are not limited to creator-owned work; the long-time comic fan and former DC Comics staffer is excited at the prospect of penning an established superhero. “That’s extremely exciting to me, because I don’t do this for financial gain, it’s solely for fun,” Way said. “So if somebody’s willing to give me the keys to the car, I think that’s a lot of fun. If I’m allowed to do what I need to do with it to make it my vision, then I think that’s totally worth doing.”

But Way described “Umbrella Academy” as his “baby,” and said that any and all other comics projects would come second to that. “There have been a few prospects that are very exciting for me as a comic fan, and I’d love to follow them through. So I think this year, maybe we’ll get to see some announcements in terms of that.”

Way thinks one of the biggest triumphs of “Umbrella Academy” is the crossover with fans of My Chemical Romance, who number in the millions. “The first issue came out and I met kids at the signing that said it was their first American comic, because they all read Manga,” Way said. “I think that’s one of the best things that can happen is that you have someone who’s so used to reading Manga pick that up because they’re interested in the band. I think it’s ultimately the goal in some respect, for the better of the industry and the craft that I love.”

For a man who has been a comic fan and an aspiring creator for as long as Gerard Way, having a series like “Umbrella Academy” under his belt is very rewarding. “I obviously had stuff to prove, and I didn’t concern myself with proving it, I just concerned myself with making the best thing I could,” Way said. “So maybe by default I ended up proving it.”
